Training Approach


Our dogs train in realistic environments such as buildings, vehicles, and crowd simulations to prepare them for operational deployment. Training is continuous, and all dogs are re-evaluated to match client requirements before deployment. We encourage client input during the evaluation phase, though it is not compulsory.

 

Facilities

 

At Cape Canine Services, we maintain professional-grade facilities that prioritise the wellbeing of our dogs and the quality of our training. Our infrastructure is purpose-built to meet industry standards and support hands-on learning for both dogs and handlers.

  • 58 purpose-built kennels for trained, training, and retiring dogs.
  • 4 large outside runs for socialising and exercise.
  • SASSETA-approved classroom for 10 students, fully equipped.
  • 1000 sqm grassed, fenced training ground for safe, controlled practice.
  • Weekly site visits by supervisors to rental dog locations.

These facilities allow us to uphold the highest standards in dog welfare, training consistency, and client support across all our services.
